R-Studio is an open-source integrated development environment for R, which is based on the C language. It's available in two formats: Windows-gettable R Studio and Windows-Server R Studio. Windows-gettable R-Studio provides basic functionalities only. Windows-Server R-Studio includes all the functions of Windows Server together with desktop automation features. As it has no interface to Windows software, this version is used for external integration applications.
To download R-Studio, first download and install the software on your computer. On Windows-Server version, launch the program by double clicking on the start icon on your desktop or taskbar. On the other hand, on Windows-gettable R-Studio, launch it by clicking "Start" button > "Run". On the list of choices, choose "Control Panel" then "Uninstall/Remove Programs". After that, click "Remove" and on the next screen, click on "checked" button. Finally, save the software to disk in order to prevent future problems related to accidentally uninstalling the application.
If your computer is not running Windows properly, you might encounter an error such as "The program cannot find the files are missing". To solve this problem, follow the instructions on the screen. Usually, the installation of the file recovery software takes few minutes. Once completed, close all unnecessary programs and save all files related to the project you are working on. To prevent data loss related to accidental deletions of files, launch the R-Studio program even if you haven't saved the project yet.
